Our client is a rapidly growing and ambitious company in the semiconductor industry, currently seeking a talented Director of Semiconductor Sales to join a dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to lead sales efforts for cutting-edge engineering services and hardware / software solutions in the semiconductor and electronics sectors.

Role Overview :

As the Director of Semiconductor Sales, you will be pivotal in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. You will coordinate and grow semiconductor sales, identify new opportunities, and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering and procurement teams. Your leadership will be critical in ensuring the successful delivery of tailored customer proposals and the achievement of significant sales growth.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate and lead semiconductor sales efforts across the European region.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities and customers within the semiconductor industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with engineering, design, and procurement teams to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to create compelling customer proposals and solutions.
  • Use Salesforce.com to track sales opportunities, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.
  • Contribute to driving substantial revenue growth and help shape the future of the business.
  • Report directly to the Head of Sector for Semiconductors.

You'll Need :

  • Proven sales / business development experience within the Semiconductor or Electronics industry, with a preference for experience in engineering services, hardware and software solutions, ASIC, IP, EDA, and embedded systems.
  • A strong track record of driving growth in an engineering services environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect effectively with design engineers and procurement teams.
  • High energy, drive, and a passion for making an impact.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Europe as required.
  • Fluent German and English skills
