Human Resources Specialist

We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to serve our clients across the DACH region.
Your role
The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations and support of contingent and EOR workers across the DACH region, delivering an excellent worker experience.
The Human Resources Specialist is expected to be self-disciplined, and client-focused and must have in-depth knowledge of local employment law and collective agreements.
You have experience working in a fast-paced environment and have great attention to detail. You will operate with integrity and be responsible for fostering good worker relations.
To be effective, the Human Resources Specialist must be highly organized with exceptional customer service skills, and able to effectively manage a heavy workload dealing with all HR queries.
What you will do
- Ensure that the quality of service and attention to detail is best-in-class.
- Understand and advise on country specific employment legislation.
- Understand and advise on worker benefits where necessary.
- Understand the applicability of Collective Labor Agreements.
- Build relationships with workers to aid in long term employment satisfaction.
- Responsible for overseeing worker communications.
- Answer day to day employee queries.
- Verification of New Hire Paperwork and support with visa / work permit applications where permitted.
- Weekly check-ins with New Hires.
- Work effectively and collaboratively with all departments.
- Adhere to any country specific health & safety and occupational health requirements and updates.
- Manage a workload that evolves around several topics within different country legislation.
- Liaising with Clients and external accountants to manage Worker life-cycle including time tracking, managing absences, parental leave, sickness and performance issues.
What you bring
- Knowledge and understanding of German, Austrian, Swiss labor laws. In particular experience in; Human Resources, Staffing Services, or Payroll Processing is valued
- Exceptional customer service skills and demeanor, along with the innovative ability to communicate.
- Fluency in German with strong verbal and written English skills.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Professional and engaging, with solid organizational and time management skills.
- Self-directed with the ability to keep up with a very fast-paced environment.
