Job Description :

A vacancy for a Aerodynamic Engineer - Dataset Team (d / w / m) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “Aerodynamic Analysis & Dataset MAN”.

Within the "Aerodynamics Domain", the candidate will be working in the "Aerodynamic Data" team, which is responsible for aerodynamic modelling

aerodynamic dataset) for handling qualities, loads and aircraft performance purposes and providing it to customers on TCQ (time, cost, quality) in

accordance to the projects aerodynamic and flight performance requirements.

The given tasks are performed by use of handbook methods, in-house tools, CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) calculations as well as Wind Tunnel and Flight Test data.

The candidate will be required to perform mainly the following Tasks :

• Wind Tunnel and Flight Test requirements and test programmes preparation
• Analysis of CFD simulations, Wind Tunnel and Flight Test data in support to aerodynamic data generation and verification
• Support WT testing campaign
• Aerodynamic Dataset Tolerances definition
• Generation and Verification of Stability & Control, Loads and Lift & Drag Aerodynamic Datasets
• Analysis tool improvement
