As a Sales Engineer, you will execute the sales strategy within an assigned region to drive revenue growth, in a position based in our Elgin, IL office. This role will require a good working knowledge of Rubber Molded and Extruded Products. We expect you to represent the company in all sales-oriented activities. This includes working with existing OEM customers on new product development and product improvement. In addition, the Sales Engineer is responsible for growing our customer base at Ebco.
The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers in order to aid customers in their success using our products.
Responsibilities
- Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales of Ebco products and services
- Develop relationships with key accounts and foster additional growth opportunities
- Develop, qualify, and drive leads through the sales pipeline
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with key account managers, engineers, and various divisions at Ebco as required
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans
- Apply basic engineering knowledge to aid in developing applications
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Travel to prospects and customers for this position is 30-50%
