Our subsidiary, Integrated Circuit Testing GmbH , with currently 150 employees, develops and produces electron microscopes, the heart of our machines, which monitor processes in semiconductor production and classify the smallest defects on wafers. To meet the rapidly increasing demand from our customers in the semiconductor industry, our location in Munich is constantly growing.
To further strengthen our R&D group, who oversees providing innovative technologies for high-performance electron beam systems for next generation semiconductor process controls tools, we are looking for a R&D Manager (m / f / d) who can design and lead R&D processes.
On a typical workday, you enjoy :
Leading the development of advanced e-beam systems for process control solutions
Taking holistic responsibility for the development and implementation of new technologies & products to support our future business goals
Defining the research direction and strategy for future technologies to meet R&D and high-volume manufacturing requirements
Leading and further growing our physics-based multidisciplinary R&D team within an international environment
Leading the design and experimental verification
Demonstrating a strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies and application to complex technical projects
Overseeing complex system requirements being responsible for the creation of system architectures in a multidisciplinary process in collaboration with colleagues from several other divisions
Mentoring the team members to developing their full potential
Encouraging innovations in the team to developing new ideas that can overcome design bottlenecks
You’ve hit the right job ad if you are / have :
PhD in physics with minimum 10 years of relevant work experience (at least 5 years of managerial experience)
Broad experience in dealing with multi-cultural environments
Knowledge in the field of electron microscopy (SEM / TEM)
Expertise in the development of particle beam systems
Knowledge in the field of (ultra) high vacuum and / or high voltage technology desirable
Interest in solving experimental and theoretical problems
Proven leadership experience in a high-tech environment preferred
Good project management skills
Fluent English – both written and spoken
