Requirements

  • Technical training or studies and first relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge and experience in the administration of Linux operating systems
  • Experience in the configuration and administration of VMware environments
  • Basic knowledge of network technology
  • Proactive and solution-oriented way of working
  • Very good written and spoken German skills (min. C1)
  • Good knowledge of English (min. B2)

Tasks & Responsibilities

Linux operating system administration :

  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of Linux servers
  • Troubleshooting operating system problems and ensuring system stability system stability
  • Implementation of security guidelines and patches
  • VMware administration :

  • Management and maintenance of VMware virtualized environments
  • Provision, configuration and optimization of virtual machines
  • Monitoring resource utilization and performance optimization
  • Basic knowledge of network technology :

  • Support with network problems and queries
  • Basic configuration of network devices and protocols
  • Collaboration on network security measures
  • Creation of technical documentation :
  • Documentation of system configurations, processes and problem solutions solutions
  • Maintaining and updating technical manuals
  • Incident and problem management :
  • Diagnosis and rectification of IT faults and problems
