Join our esteemed ISR Groupin Germany, as a Head of our new Elementary School in Düsseldorfstarting in August 1, 2025.

We are looking for anexceptional and highly experienced Head of Elementary School whowill provide visionary leadership, ensuring the educationalexcellence of our institution. This role presents a uniqueopportunity to shape the future of our diverse and vibrantinternational community.

As the Head ofElementary School, you will hold a senior leadership position andreport to the CEO. Your responsibilities will include overseeingthe educational operations, driving the strategic direction inalignment with the school's vision and mission, and ensuring highstandards of education, learning, and achievement across alldepartments.

ProfessionalResponsibilities :

Strategic Direction,Continuous Development and Implementation of EducationalProgram :

  • Promote the missionand vision of the ISR, with clear focus andpurpose
  • Evaluate the effectiveness ofeducational program
  • Provide support andguidance to staff to ensure the educational program is implementedsuccessfully
  • Manage changejudiciously

Student andParent Engagement :

  • Establisha strong partnership with parents, fostering open communication andcollaboration
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, andinclusive learning environment for allstudents
  • Promote student well-being, personaldevelopment, and academic advancement
  • Activelyengage with students, encouraging their participation in andfostering a love forlearning

    • Leadership andManagement :

  • Ensure theduties of all teachers and support staff arefulfilled
  • Work with Human Resources to managerecruitment of staff
  • Ensure systems are inplace to assess performance and revieweffectiveness
  • Develop open and honestrelationships with staff - mentoring, presenting workshops orseminars
  • Work closely and collaborate withother members of the ManagementTeam

    • Operational andComplianceManagement :

  • Oversee theday-to-day operations of the school, ensuring efficient managementof resources
  • Ensure compliance with localregulations, educational authorities, and accreditationstandards
  • Collaborate with the school'ssupervisory board and stakeholders to uphold governance andfinancial responsibilities
  • Maintain strongrelationships with relevant external organizations andagencies

    • Experience andQualifications :

  • A BSc / MSc inEducation or Educational Leadership.
  • Relevantexperience of progressive leadership in internationalschools.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaininghigh-quality standards and driving forexcellence.
  • Strong collaboration andteam-building skills, with the ability to build and lead a teameffectively (absolutely essential).
  • Excellentability to engage with students and parents, fostering positiverelationships and effective communication(essential).
  • Extensive internationalexperience, demonstrating a deep understanding of differentcultures and educationalsystems.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with theability to identify opportunities for growth andinnovation.
  • Exceptional communication skills inEnglish
  • Knowledge of German educationregulations and international accreditation standards isadvantageous.
