Your tasks and responsibilities :

Legal Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the overall legal strategy for the corporate functions, ensuring alignment with the organization’s business objectives.
  • Provide expert and strategic legal advice to the board, senior management, and business units on all corporate legal matters, including compliance, transactions, and regulatory affairs.
  • Lead the corporate legal team, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Mergers, Acquisitions, & Transactions

  • Oversee legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary, ensuring efficient and effective representation.
  • Regulatory Affairs

  • Act as main point of contact for all regulatory parties on a group level
  • Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, external counsel, and other key stakeholders to protect the organization’s legal and business interests.
  • Contract Management

  • Oversee the negotiation, drafting, and review of key corporate contracts and agreements, including service agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements.
  • Implement efficient contract management systems and processes across the organization.
  • Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and manage legal risks associated with the company’s business activities.
  • Work closely with the risk management team to ensure proactive legal risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead investigations into significant legal issues and disputes, managing litigation, arbitration, or other dispute resolution processes when necessary.
  • Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of in-house corporate lawyers and legal professionals for all group entities.
  • Manage relationships with external law firms, ensuring high-quality service and cost-effective solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal business units, providing practical and actionable legal advice.
  • Your skills and experience :

  • Educational law background & equivalent law degree
  • Licensed to practice law in relevant jurisdiction(s).
  • Minimum 10-15 years of legal experience with a focus on corporate legal matters, including significant experience in a senior leadership role within a corporate environment.
  • Proven track record in corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, and compliance.
  • Extensive experience working with C-suite executives and board members.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of corporate law, governance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • High level of integrity, professional ethics, and sound judgment in complex legal matters.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations.
