How you will create an impact :

• Use your excellent communication skills to ensure the country subsidiaries of Simon-Kucher Engine submit monthly reports
• Apply your analytical thinking to review monthly profit and loss reports, particularly global project invoices and their associated KPIs
• Put your keen eye for detail to work ensuring financial compliance with our group directives
• Respond to the managing director and finance teams in each country subsidiary when you are asked for support and guidance
• Share your expertise in project assets and invoices as an in-house advisor to partners and assistants managing projects
• Create and develop finance training programs and guidelines for your colleagues
• Draw on any software experience you have to develop our financial reporting processes in SAP BI
• Create finance presentations to share your findings with the executives and management board
• Become part of the team that’s developing our business and finance processes (e.g., introducing a document management system, conducting SAP integration for more country subsidiaries)

About you :

• From a background in finance and able to demonstrate accounting skills you have gained e.g., through business management training
• Well-practiced in accounting / controlling after your many years of experience in the IT industry (IT service provider / software development)
• Used to an international environment where you listen to others’ perspectives and share your own
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and German (you must be able to communicate well in English)
• Ideally familiar with commercial software tools (i.e., you have used SAP CO, PS, SD, BI, or SAP front-end tools in the past)
