Vickerstock are working with a leading civil engineer to recruit Graduate and Junior Civil Engineers across the South West of Ireland
Location : Cork, Kerry, Limerick and surrounding areas. Accommodation can be provided Monday to Friday
Role : Junior Civil Engineer

Your new role
As a Junior Civil Engineer you will work across the below areas :
- Site Supervision - including the supervision of subcontractors, ensuring works are completed according to company standards
- Quality - including quality checks, inspections, documentation and processes
- Project Management - taking part in progress meetings, project management documentation, ensuring projects are on time, on schedule and on budget
- Construction Software & Processes - using software including but not limited to AutoCAD, Procore, Aconex, TotalStation & more
You will :
Work on a large-scale Water & Wastewater project in MunsterSupervise subcontractorsReview works on site and report back to managementPerform quality checksEnsure regular documentation is completedWork on upgrades and maintenance to Water and Wastewater Plants and infrastructureWhat you'll need to be successful
At least 1 year of practical experience in Construction, Civil Engineering or a related field (your placement year counts!)Experience in Water, Wastewater, Utilities or Public RoadsWillingness to learn new areas of construction and grow your careerA full Irish or UK Driving LicenceThe right to work in Ireland or Northern Ireland indefinitelyThe ability to travel between sites in the South West of IrelandPlease note this role requires location flexibility and flexibility to work shift patterns if required
