We are currently looking for a skilled Service Technician / Project Technician (m / f / d) to join a diverse team where we will provide you with a innovative opportunity to set your footprints within essential areas in Vestas.

The Service Operations Development NCE Department delivers customized solutions for up-tower repairs, crane less solutions or cost out initiatives to the NCE (Northern & Central Europe) Service regions. Strong collaboration with WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) Engineering Support / Construction and CIM (Continuous Improviment Management) department.

Responsibilities

  • Support on CIM Pre-Assessment (Review of repair instructions / technical feasibility / availability of tools and materials)
  • Act as supervisor / field instructor on CIM WI for regional Techs and Subs during implementation (Plan / organize and conduct technical / practical training or briefings in the field)
  • Act as Supervisor during execution and perform quality checks for critical CIM Cases.
  • Act as CIM Technician in escalation cases

Qualificaitions

  • General technical or equivalent training
  • Ability to work at heights and physical fitness as well as very high security awareness
  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate of implementation on site
  • Very good knowledge of the Vestas product range
  • System and process knowledge, e.g. B. Vestas Technical Documentation / Troubleshooting
  • 5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position and experience in the wind energy industry
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and strong computer skills
  • Basic knowledge of project management
  • Driving license
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional and team environment (NCE)
  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Very good English language skills
