As part of our continued growth and internationalization, we are strengthening our finance team. As a Financial Controller (f / m / d) in a full-time position (40 hours / week), you will not only take responsibility for financial controlling but also actively contribute to the development of our financial processes and the strategic management of the company.

Your mission

  • Responsible for financial controlling and the development and optimization of existing controlling processes and tools
  • Preparation of budget planning, monthly forecasts, and variance analyses
  • Identification of cost-saving potentials, investment monitoring, and financial reporting to internal stakeholders
  • Participation in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in collaboration with our tax advisors (Germany, EU, and UK)
  • Support the creation of financially relevant documents for potential investors (e.g., business cases, financial due diligence)
  • Close cooperation with the accounting department
  • Point of contact for business-related questions

What you offer

  • Completed degree in business administration (e.g., finance, business mathematics, economics) or a comparable qualification with a focus on finance / controlling
  • Professional experience in financial controlling or accounting
  • Proficient in standard controlling and accounting systems (preferably DATEV) and MS Office, especially Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working
  • Skilled in financial KPI analysis, entrepreneurial mindset, and excellent Excel skills
  • Team spirit, strong communication skills, and a high level of initiative
  • Business proficiency in German and English

    Your Application Process at Greenbone

    1. Initial meeting with the Talent Acquisition Team (Duration : 30–45 minutes)

    2. Interview with the Hiring Manager and Peer (Duration : approx. 60 minutes)

    3. Final interview with Department Lead or C-Level (Duration : approx. 60 minutes)

    The process may vary slightly depending on the position. For some technical roles, a case study is included between the second and third interview.
