What will you do in this role?

In this position you will work closely with the European Government Solutions team, across Europe, and will be instrumental in delivering the long-term strategic goals of ICEYE.

  • You will work closely with the Head of Government Solutions Europe, managing key client accounts on a long-term basis, managing relationships whilst supporting / identifying new opportunities within Europe
  • You will be the Lead Relationship manager for your accounts & countries and key point of contact
  • You will develop and execute penetration strategies whilst building / growing and developing key business relationships across key accounts & countries
  • You will support and develop proposals for Government prospects, which includes leading proposals ( for ESA R&D ITTs)
  • You will build internal relationships and liaise with Product Team to ensure continuous improvement within the delivery

Requirements

Required :

  • Candidates must be passionate about customer success and building long-lasting partnerships with a strong account management background
  • Geospatial experience and / or emergency management experience is preferred
  • Experience selling into Civil Protection Services, Crisis Organisations, Natural Catastrophe (NatCat), Crisis, Disaster response, Disaster recovery, Natural disaster, or emergency services would be a strong plus
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a sales portfolio and to close governmental sales
  • Strong experience in managing and winning ESA (R&D) ITTs
  • Self-motivated, independent and proactive work style. Strong self-initiative with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment in support of our clients during emergency situations
  • Comfortable working remotely
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

In addition to the above, it would be beneficial if you had the below attributes and skills :

  • Strong governmental network in the UK and / or Germany including with Crisis Response organisations like BBK and regional Crisis Response organisations
  • Strong governmental network in other European countries ( the Netherlands and Belgium) including with Crisis Response organisations on the federal, state, regional and / or local level
  • Background selling SAR and / or Value Added Services related products
  • Experience in tracking prospective ITTs with ESA, EC and national Agencies in Europe
  • Experience in managing and winning proposals for EC grants and R&D ITTs
  • Strong network at EC, ESA and / or PAN European organizations (like Frontex) buying SAR images & solutions
  • German language a huge plus

  • Base salary range for this position is £76,000 - £80,600 (or equivalent in Euros) - per annum (gross) contingent on your experience level, and will be negotiated individually.
