Based in South West Germany, my international client is offering an unparalleled Requirements Engineer, with a focus on Battery Storage.

At the core of the sprawling Engineering sector, this technology giant develops world-leading Electronic Solutions for multiple industries. During this exciting time, they urgently require a Requirements Engineer to utilize their specialist skills to fuel the progression of the company.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal and external automation experts within an agile development environment
Assess customer benefits and the technical direction of the project to optimize advantages and establish automation needs
Gain in-depth knowledge of the system and take on a leadership role in the field of battery storage, encompassing mechanical, thermodynamic, and electrical components
Develop software specifications by clearly defining and abstracting functional requirements
Assist in designing control and monitoring systems for battery storage solutions

Requirements

Completed a degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or similar

Obtained 5+ years of relevant experience in Large-Scale energy storage systems (e.g. PV, Wind, Power Plants, Battery Storage, etc.)

2+ years experience in a Requirements Engineering role

Knowledge and experience in the development of entire systems, including Electrical, and mechanical components and their corresponding control systems

A confident and professional approach when interacting with internal teams, predominantly Software and Sales

Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory, ideally German also
