We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join the German team of a leading biopharmaceutical company specializing in innovative treatments for cardiovascular diseases. About the Role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will play a key role in building relationships with healthcare providers, thought leaders, and internal teams. Reporting to the Associate / Medical Director Germany, this role focuses on supporting therapies for rare diseases, with opportunities to contribute to the company’s promising development pipeline.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in specialized care to foster scientific exchange and identify partnership opportunities.
  • Build relationships with healthcare providers in institutional care settings to understand unmet needs and provide up-to-date medical information.
  • Represent the company as a scientific expert at conferences, advisory panels and clinical investigator meetings.
  • Stay abreast of developments in clinical research, treatment guidelines and competitive landscapes.
  • Support clinical development programs by liaising with investigators for both company-sponsored and investigator-initiated research.
  • Collaborate on Medical Affairs initiatives, including medical education, publications, grants and speaker training.
  • Document activities accurately in company systems while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications :

  • Advanced clinical or research degree preferred (PharmD, PhD, MD / DO, MS, PA, ARNP).
  • 2-5 years of experience in MSL roles in rare disease or cardiovascular disease.
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards, including advertising laws, ethical guidelines and industry regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based platforms.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (~30%-50% domestic, occasional international).
