Principle duties and essential functions

  • Responsible for the design, implementation, documentation and maintenance of complex embedded software and firmware projects
  • Software development for different microcontroller families (e.g. ARM) in C / C++
  • Integration and test of software components in the system environment and support of the verification tests
  • Full lifecycle application development
  • Support of prototyping, production and technical support

Knowledge, skills and experience required

  • University degree in electrical engineering, information technology or similar
  • Good knowledge in the following areas :

    • embedded software development

  • GNU tool chain and GIT
  • Embedded Linux
  • understanding of schematics
  • communication busses, digital systems and instrumentation
  • Knowledge of OTDR technology would be an advantage
  • Team player and self-motivated person
  • Well-organized, focused on solution finding
  • Good English and German language skills
