What you will enjoy doing

  • You are responsible for leading the Strategic Sourcing strategy to improve Linde’s position in the region for Bulk. This includes negotiating with competitors and sister companies for buy and sell agreements, signing appropriate contracts, and ensuring their execution
  • You create, enable and maintain growth and profitability improvements related to competitors within the region’s project portfolio
  • You will be responsible for supervising the operational sourcing activities to ensure alignment with the strategic regional plan
  • You are responsible for creating, leading and coordinating sourcing optimization projects within the region. These projects will often require collaboration across multiple departments and must align with operational sourcing activities.
  • Another taks is to control and optimize sourcing costs and margins through detailed P&L management
  • Further you will be responsible for controlling and reporting the impacts of volume and contractual price changes, both positive and negative
  • You must proactively manage contracts linked to indexes, appropriately report on fixed and variable costs, and oversee the financial aspects of wholesale agreements

What makes you great

  • You have an university degree and more than five years of working experience in Strategic Sourcing
  • In this role you will demonstrate operational capacity through strong organizational skills, attention to detail, speed, and consistent process follow-up
  • You exhibit strong communication skills, including the ability to deliver effective presentations at all levels, negotiate effectively, and resolve conflicts
  • You provide strong leadership in change management and have the ability to transform business operations as needed
  • Moreover, you possess excellent negotiation skills and can facilitate agreements that meet strategic objectives
  • You understand business-to-business relationships and leverage this understanding to build effective partnerships.
  • You have advanced financial skills with a strong analytical approach, allowing you to articulate key value drivers of investments clearly
  • You have strong project management capabilities, ensuring tasks and goals are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Also, you are able tocollect, interpret and use data effectively, driving digital transformation
