About the Company : Our client is an Irish leading construction company specializing in large-scale projects across Europe.

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Structural Engineer to lead our team for an exciting data centre construction project in Frankfurt, Germany.

Job Description : As a Senior Civil Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and execution of our data center construction project in Frankfurt.

You will provide technical leadership and guidance to our engineering team, ensuring the successful completion of the project according to design specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and development of civil and structural engineering plans for the data centre project.
• Conduct comprehensive site surveys and inspections to assess existing conditions and ensure compliance with design requirements.
• Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve complex design issues and ensure project success.
• Perform advanced structural analysis and calculations to verify the integrity and safety of construction materials and components.
• Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and documentation prepared by junior engineers.
• Monitor construction progress and quality to ensure adherence to project schedules, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a proven track record of success in large-scale construction projects.
• Extensive experience working on pharmaceutical or data centre projects in Europe is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in advanced structural analysis software and AutoCAD.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to effectively lead and mentor a team.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
• EU experience on large construction sites essential.
