Freelance Translator - Experienced Post-Editor EN(US) to ES(US) - Medical

Experienced post-editor (min 2 hrs. / day)  Type : Freelance / Remote   Location : Several Time zones    Volume : High Volumes continuous   We are looking for talented and qualified English (US) into Spanish (US) Post-Editors with experience in the medical setting.   Task :   Review and adjust machine translated text from English US into Spanish US by improving accuracy, quality and fluency. The goal is to ensure that the post-edited versions read as if it were originally written by a native speaker.   Requirements :   A degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education; or  a degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating; or the equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating.  Other requirements :  Bilingual Spanish (US) and English (US).  Localization Experience - Possess cultural knowledge of the source language and the target language. Min 3 years Post -editing Machine Translation or Localization Experience.  Knowledge of MT and LLM technologies Proven Experience in the healthcare industry. CAT experience.  Skills :   Advanced degree in translation or a related field.  Experience in evaluating Post-edited material :   Post-editing Quality :   fluency, naturalness, accuracy, and coherence  RAW MT output evaluation : Post-editing length and time, Error type identification and similar    Additional language proficiency in other languages.  ​​​​​​​   Powered by JazzHR
