Our client, an innovative company in the fast-growing FinTech sector, is looking for a MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Officer) to join its Luxembourg-based office. In a constantly evolving environment, this company plays a key role in the crypto-asset markets and ensures strict compliance with current regulations. If you are an expert in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing with a proven track record in financial services, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

MLRO - Your responsibilities as MLRO :

  • Establish and maintain AML / CTF systems and controls in compliance with Luxembourg legislation and CSSF circulars.
  • Oversee the implementation of AML / CTF policies and procedures, including the monitoring of suspicious activities.
  • Ensure ongoing training for employees on AML / CTF requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Board of Directors and regulators.
  • Organize and assist with regulatory visits and audit inspections.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and update AML / CTF policies accordingly.

MLRO - Required profile :

  • A passion for the crypto-asset sector and a strong understanding of its ecosystem.
  • Significant experience of at least 6 years in senior compliance functions specialized in AML, including previous MLRO experience.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing internal control systems and AML / CTF processes.
  • Ability to collaborate with various business functions, particularly with senior management.
  • Strong ability to interact with regulators and previous experience with Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs).
  • High sense of responsibility and willingness to personally assume legal obligations in financial crime prevention.
  • Experience in a regulated and international environment.
