StellenbeschreibungBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent field. Proven experience in process safety engineering within the petrochemical or related industry in Germany. In-depth knowledge of Seveso, health & safety, and environmental regulations. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change. Proficiency in German and English (mandatory!). Valid driver's license. Willingness to work in the office at least three days per week. Position : Process Safety Engineer (m / w / d)
Location : Cologne, Germany
Contract : 12 months (with potential for extension or rollover to client)

Responsibilities :
Conduct thorough hazard analyses, including HAZOP, LOPA, HAZID, What-IF, FMEA, and SIL assessments.
- Lead discussions and workshops to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate design options to optimize safety while maintaining project objectives.
- Act as a liaison between engineering, operations, and safety teams to ensure alignment.
- Provide expert guidance on process safety standards and best practices.
- Champion a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.
