YOURTASKS ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
As a key member of our team, youwill :
Analyze tissue samples using varioustechnologies (e.g., H&E, IHC, ISH, RNAScope) within multipletherapeutic areas, including oncology,
inflammation,immunology, and cell and gene therapy, in both research andclinical (GCP)environments
- Perform evaluations of H&E-stained tumorslides for macrodissection to facilitate molecularanalyses
- Maintain stringent quality control fortissue samples and staining, coordinating with both internal andexternalgroups
- Serve as the go-to expert for histopathologytechnologies, particularly IHC, mIF, and ISH / RNAscope, assisting inthe development and validation
of new assays forclinicaltrials
Aid in the establishment and validation ofautomated assays, such as immunohistochemistry and in-situhybridization, focusing on image analysis
and tissueprocessingprotocols
Build and maintain collaborativerelationships with academic institutions, CROs, diagnosticcompanies, and industry associations, offering insights
on advanced technologies for spatial analysis and multiplexassays
Work closely with project and strategyteams, ensuring alignment and effectivecollaboration
WHO YOUARE

- You have a M.D. degree inPathology
- You have a strong background inresearch / clinical development, particularly in biomarker-focusedinitiatives, with experience in the pharmaceutical,
diagnostic, or biotechsectors
- You demonstrate a robust scientificfoundation in cancer biology and / orimmunology
- You are proficient in histopathologytechniques (e.g., IHC, ISH, macro- / microdissection, quantitativeimaging analysis) and bring experience in
assaydevelopment, validation, and image analysis algorithmcreation
- You are skilled in implementing complex invitro diagnostic assays for clinical trial requirements and samplehandlingstrategies
- You have advanced understanding ofpathophysiology and oncology therapies, with an emphasis ontranslational sciences and biomarkers
additionaldisease area experience isbeneficial)
- You are familiar with relevant regulations(e.g., IVDR,CAP / CLIA)
- You bring a strong scientific reputationwith publications and a solid network within academic and clinicalcircles, along with excellent leadership,
communication,and influencingabilities
You are fluent in English (both written andspoken), with German language skills beingadvantageous
We use thepossibilities of hybrid working flexibly. In order to experiencecommunity and collaboration, you are on site at least 3days perweek .
