Our client is a well-established and leading provider of advanced systems and solutions for the naval sector. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive sales growth in this dynamic market.

Responsibilities :
Identify and develop new business opportunities : Research and identify potential clients within the European naval sector.
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and develop tailored sales strategies.
- Activate and use existing networks : Leverage existing relationships and industry contacts to identify new opportunities and build trust with potential clients.
- Manage sales pipeline : Track sales opportunities, forecast revenue, and manage the sales pipeline to ensure achievement of sales targets.
- Negotiate contracts : Lead negotiations with potential clients to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Provide product demonstrations : Present our company's products and services to potential clients, highlighting their benefits and value proposition.
- Market analysis : Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the European naval sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams : Work closely with engineering, product management, and other departments to ensure successful sales execution.
Qualifications :
- MUST : Navy background : Proven experience working in the European naval sector, with a deep understanding of the industry and its specific needs.
- MUST : Minimum 5 years of commercial experience : Proven track record in sales, business development, or account management within the naval sector.
- Strong communication skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
- Relationship building : Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Technical aptitude : A basic understanding of naval systems and technologies.
