For our IT service provider Deutsche Rentenversicherung NOW IT GmbH, we are looking for a new colleague for the Infrastructure Services division for the Competence Center (KC) Document Center Control, Outgoing Control Team at the Düsseldorf site as soon as possible in EG 11 TV-TgDRV.

System Administrator (f/m/d)

The Document Center Control KC is responsible for receiving, processing, and forwarding documents for the areas of shipping printing, in-house printing, and archiving.

As part of document processing, the KC Control Document Center manages various standard software as well as large parts of server administration and makes intensive use of system-side scripts. Programming in Java is also one of the KC's tasks in some areas. Most of the work is carried out in small teams.

As a System Administrator (m/f/d), you will support us in the following areas, among others:

• Analyzing data
• Designing and developing workflows
• Configuring standard software and integrating it into existing or new workflows using scripting
• Server and system administration for the hardware and software components used by the KC (primarily Red Hat Linux and Windows Server from 2016 onwards)
• Advising customers on technical issues
• Maintaining existing IT solutions and developing them further

Your qualifications:

You have a degree in computer science (Bachelor of Science) from a university of applied sciences or a comparable relevant degree at level 6 of the German Qualifications Framework.

In addition, we would like you to have:

• Knowledge of scripting, ideally under Windows and Linux
• Knowledge of the Windows (from 2016) and Red Hat Linux server operating systems and the general design of workflows.
• Knowledge of JAVA programming, web design, and JavaScript.
• Experience working in project and working groups and dealing with customers.
• Knowledge of the software used (CPMILL from Compart, POSY from SET, and Automation Engine from Automic) is desirable.
• Knowledge of document preparation.
