The Sales Director will be a key stakeholder in their European business team and will be responsible for driving the sales performance, achieving revenue targets, and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the business with Europe.
Responsibilities :
- Identify and maximize new business development opportunities and sales channels in Europe to establish a market position in protection plans for consumer electronics, appliances, home repair, and other segments
- Proactively prospect and win new accounts, building out a strong funnel
- Develop and execute sales plans and profit targets to contribute to business goals
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with new and existing customers
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
- Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets
Requirements
Previous experience and knowledge within the Insurance industry is essential and knowledge / network (Target segments are consumer electronics retailers & OEMs, Utility providers (Gas & Electricity), Banks / Bancassurance, Telcos & Internet service providers)Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels, including executive and C-levelProven ability to drive the sales process from plan to closeProven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and servicesProven ability to position products against competitorsGerman & English required.If this role sounds interesting, please get in touch!
