MacGregorBlack is currently partnering with a growing toy company on the search for Head of Sales. This is a permanentrole based in Baden-Württemberg.

Asthe Head of Sales , you will lead theirsales efforts in Germany. You will be responsible for drivingrevenue growth, managing key accounts, and developing salesstrategies that align with the company’s objectives. This rolerequires a proven sales leader with a deep understanding of the toyor consumer goods industry and a strong track record of managingand expanding sales teams.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Developand implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenuegrowth, increase market share, and achieve sales targets acrossvarious channels.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage ahigh-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence,collaboration, and accountability.
  • Oversee andbuild strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customersatisfaction and long-termpartnerships.
  • Identify and pursue new businessopportunities, including new markets, channels, and partnerships,to expand the company’s footprint in Germany andbeyond.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyzesales data, and adjust strategies to ensure targets are met orexceeded.
  • Develop and manage the sales budget,ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximizeROI.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts andregular performance reports to senior management, using data-driveninsights to inform decision-making.
  • Workclosely with marketing, product development, and operations teamsto ensure sales strategies are aligned with overall businessobjectives.
  • Lead negotiations for major dealsand contracts, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned withcompany goals.

What arewe looking for?

  • Aminimum of 8 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years ina senior leadership role. Experience in the toy or consumer goodsindustry is highly desirable.
  • Demonstratedsuccess in achieving sales targets and leading sales teams toexceed goals in a competitive market.
  • Strongleadership and people management skills, with the ability toinspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Ability todevelop and implement effective sales strategies that drive growthand profitability.
  • Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills in both German and English, with the abilityto influence and negotiate at alllevels.
  • Strong analytical skills with theability to interpret sales data and market trends to informstrategic decisions.
  • A deep understanding ofcustomer needs and the ability to build and maintain strongcustomer relationships.
  • Familiarity with theGerman market and cultural nuances, with the ability to tailorsales strategies accordingly.
  • Willingness totravel as needed to meet with clients, partners, andstakeholders.
