The ProcessEngineer (f / m / d) for Cytiva is responsible for our Global DA standard automated platformsystem.

Thisposition is part of the Biotech Organization, located in Dreieich, Germany and will be an on-site role.At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics fromdiscovery todelivery.

Inthis role, you will have the opportunityto :

Designauthority - act as global subject matter expert for one or morestandard platform systems. You will provide the design standardsand technical guidance to other regions and functions within theCytiva Biotech organization, as well as the technical elements andinterface for the complete product life cycle of the definedplatform systems.

Analyzecustomer process user requirements specification for engineeredprocess equipment (including different technologies such as directflow filtration, tangential flow filtration, chromatography) usedin the Biopharmaceuticalindustry.

As technicalpartner of a project team : you will discuss, propose, define finalengineered technical system solution with the customer includingwriting technical part of quotation and associated costing. AfterOrder placement you will execute the proposed engineered systemsolution based on agreed and defined contractual specificationtogether with a defined project team as project manager or processengineer.

The focus of theproject work is on standard system with customization and work inproject teams to provide unit operations for fully integratedsolutionprojects.

Theessential requirements of the jobinclude :

BSc / MScor equivalent in Biochemical Engineering, Process Engineering,Chemical Engineering or equivalent. A higher degree or secondarydegree in a related subject would be anadvantage.

Minimum 2 yearsof experience of process engineering / project management ofdownstream equipment used in Biopharmaceutical manufacturingincluding large scale and complex projects involving theintegration of multiplesystems.

Experience in thedesign and engineering of process equipment for filtration,separation and purification equipment (e.g. direct or tangentialflow, filtration, chromatography systems and columns) used in adownstream & upstreamprocess.

Ability tocommunicate effectively on sophisticated technical / engineeringissues at the highest level with internal as well as externalcustomers.

Ability to travelup to 30 % ifrequired.

Fluency in Englishlanguage (written and spoken); German would be aplus.
