Résumé du travail :
The Field Service Representative maintains the integrity of the CSA registered mark by conducting factory inspections and safeguarding on-going conformity of products bearing the CSA Mark.
These are your tasks :
- Conduct factory inspections at CSA authorized factories (remote and on-site).
- Select representative product samples to audit; determine if sample complies with all applicable standards and Certification report; review quality control and testing documentation.
- Prepare Factory Inspection Reports (FIR), Initial Factory Evaluation (IFE) reports, and consumer product evaluation reports to document inspection findings per procedures and work instructions.
- Review previous FIR's to determine if previous deviations have been corrected.
With supervision, determine satisfactory corrective action and time frame to implement the changes; determine if non-compliance merits stop shipments, re-investigation or removal of CSA mark and takes appropriate action.
Maintain contact with clients by following up, providing information, and responding to inquiries.Keep current on new services available and communicates these to clients as necessary and assist clients with making changes to their records (address, company name, etc) with CSA.

Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or Associates DegreeLicensed Electrician with related experienceBachelor’s Degree in Engineering5-7 years´ experience (industry related experience will be an asset)Ability to work remotely and independently (Home office)Strong-effective communication skillsStrong conflict resolution skills to be able to handle difficult situationsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and test dataComputer skills (word processing, e-mail)Usage of calibrated measurement instruments, high voltage test equipment, hand toolsAbility to manage multiple inspection files and changing schedules and deadlines with supervisionWorking knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, as well as general laboratory procedures as they relate to performing factory inspectionsGood communication skills in German and English (oral and written) Knowledge of an additional European language (i.e. : French or Italian) welcomeAbility to travel as needed and / or with short notice.
