The Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) represents the Luxembourg asset management and investment fund community. Established in 1988, the Association today represents over 1,400 Luxembourg-domiciled investment funds, asset management companies and a wide range of businesses that serve the sector.

We are a dynamic team of over 40 professionals with a strong sense of collaboration and team spirit. The open position offers an exceptional opportunity to add value to ALFI’s members and contribute to the growth of the Luxembourg asset management industry.

Are you a skilled data analyst with a passion for finance? We are looking for a Data Officer to join our team on a full-time, permanent contract. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and analysing data related to the investment fund industry as well as handling the statistics of ALFI’s membership.

Key responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily data management
  • Develop analytic statistics to extract valuable insights from data to support the Association’s objectives. Support the development and distribution of data.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement data systems of data systems, storage solutions, and integration of various platforms.
  • Work in line with procedures for data quality, security, privacy, and compliance with GDPR.
  • Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Assist the daily operations and internal organisation.

Qualifications and skills :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
  • Experience (+3 years) in data administration skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong understanding of the Fund Industry
  • Knowledge of data tools (SQL, statistical software, BI tools)
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
  • Understanding of data modelling

    • What we are looking for :

  • Fluent in French and English; German is considered an asset.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • A self-motivated attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
