Your mission :

The Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer plays a pivotal role in collaborating on and implementing the automation and service catalogue delivery strategy for our organization. This position will work within lead architects and a small team of DevOps Engineers. This group will be responsible for implementing scalable, efficient, and secure public and private cloud solutions that our end users can easily deploy in a self-service manner. The role involves working closely with architecture, development, operations, and security teams to create a seamless CI / CD pipelines that enable automated deployment and operational processes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud services, DevOps practices, and software development lifecycles.

Professional Skills

• Proven team leadership skills and an ability to influence without authority.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure on both AWS and private cloud solutions.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture and transformation patterns.
• Deep knowledge of container and container orchestration services (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure as a code and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with GitOps principles and tooling (e.g. ArgoCD, Flux).
• Extensive experience with CI / CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with Platform Engineering principles and tooling (e.g. Cycloid).
• Deep knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
• Familiarity with observability principles and tools (e.g. Dynatrace).
• Solid understanding of network and security.
• Familiarity with Integration platforms, including API Management solutions as well as messaging solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with or in Cycloid, Terraform, Ansible, and monitoring.
• Experience with or interest in GitOps, REST APIs, and CI / CD principles and practices.
