What you ll do

Summary :

The Asset Administration Shell (AAS), the standardized Digital Twin in Industry 4.0, will completely change the way how production-related assets of any kind are exchanged in cross-company business cases.

We are looking for a (Senior) Developer with focus on backend development to strengthen our team of talented, supportive, and motivated colleagues.

You will implement AAS interfaces in mainly Java-based microservices and integrate them in new and existing cloud products.

The Role :

In your role of a (Senior) Developer, you will create new features going through the complete software development cycle, including design, coding, testing and quality assurance, using the newest cloud technologies and agile practices.

You will :

• Analyze and resolve issues in the adoption of AAS features, collaborating with colleagues, customers, and partners from different industries around the globe
• Take over responsibility for specific topics, contributing to the team results by bringing in your own competencies and creativity
• Come up with own ideas and realize innovative approaches in conformance with SAP’s quality and security standards
• Guide and support team members to ensure high-quality outcomes

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of work experience
• Strong competence in Java or similar languages
• Experience with cloud-native development
• Expertise in agile development / SCRUM
• Fluent in English (verbal / written)
