What Will You Do?
- Develop and design power components for compressors in industrial and metallurgical applications including coke oven gas, direct iron reduction, wastewater, flue gas, exhaust gas recirculation, mechanical vapor recompression.
- Support ongoing development of electrical hardware, power components, and frequency converters
- Collaborate with Automation, Project, and Sales Departments and customers on technical clarification and solution design
- Participate in research and development for current and new products
- Perform testing, maintenance, documentation, and bug fixes
- Conduct troubleshooting and commissioning at client sites (10–20% travel)
- Support interdisciplinary projects for current and new products
Your Experience Should Be…
Degree in electrical engineering or related fieldExperience in power electronics and frequency converters preferredHands-on experience with hardware and softwareStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency in written and spoken English for collaborating with international colleagues; German language skills are an assetWillingness to travel internationallyWe’ve put together some criteria that we think is important for this role, but don’t worry if your experience and expertise isn’t an exact match.
