If so, you might be the person that we are looking for to join our Service Sales team in Germany.

We are currently looking for a Service Sales Account Manager to join our team, part of the Agilent CrossLab Group. In this role you will be responsible for selling an expansive service portfolio including enterprise laboratory productivity concepts to large account customers in the life science and chemical analysis market in the region of North West / Mid Germany and industry. This also includes developing customers and their satisfaction. Represent the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities.

Maintaining and developing existing contracts requires an in depth understanding of customer needs to promote solutions that make a difference and deliver results.

This is a highly independent role in an international team, where you will be responsible for :

Interpret customer needs and works to meet those needs; identifies potential business opportunities, able to handle complex leads independently

managing the installed base inventory, service levels and contract set-up

consistently monitoring the contract performance

creatively tailoring solutions to meet customer requirements

generate new business possibilities and identifying sales opportunities

driving account plans for growth

The broad portfolio of services and the help from support teams will allow you to propose Asset Management, Lab-wide Enterprise Solutions, Multi-Vendor Services, Relocations and Customer Education in order to develop your business volume.

In this critical sales role, you will utilize your expertise, technical knowledge and demonstrated commercial expertise of the Pharmaceutical, Chemical Analysis and other industries to sell solutions consultatively. You will collaborate closely with the local Field Service organization, the Instrument Sales Teams and the other members of the Service Sales team.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced, driven and motivated team player who is passionate about sales and has;

A Bachelor or Master Degree or equivalent.

4+ years sales experience with a demonstrated track record of success in projects or sales at major accounts highly desired

Sales experience in either Agilent's markets, or in enterprise services sales (software, IT)

Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical, Biopharma and Chemical Analysis industry would be a valued asset

Perfect networking abilities to integrate customer priorities and influence key stakeholders

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in German and English and teamwork skills

Outstanding presentation, planning and organizational skills

Computer literate with advanced skills using Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) plus other IT systems

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
