Kubernetes Administrator

We are currently working with a top-level IT consultancy based in Germany. Buoyed by fast growth, they are ramping up their IT team and are seeking a Systems Engineer for the cloud sector, in order to augment their service delivery.

They are looking for a Kubernetes Administrator to join their DevOps team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Preparing Java software artifacts to run on Kubernetes
• Handling distributed systems for Kubernetes
• Taking care of Terraform infrastructure component for AWS, Azure,
• Shouldering new software releases
• Carrying out fault and performance analysis to ensure stable operation
• Using current technologies and tools for automating system operations

What You'll Bring to the Role:

• Degree in a relevant field or in similar area
• Very good Linux or BSD skills
• Deep knowledge and concept in Network Protocols and Architectures such as TCP / IP, MPLS
• Practical experience in AWS, Azure
• Practical experience with Ansible, Terraform, Git
• Working experience in Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Rancher, Mesosphere
• Strong communication skills
• Very good German and good English skills
