Offshore Electrical Technician

Earthstream are currently looking for an 'Offshore Electrical Technician' to assist a windfarm project. This is working on the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

Key responsibilities (but not limited to) :

Assist with the installation of electrical systems and components on wind turbines, including cabling, electrical panels, transformers, and switchgear
Ensure all electrical systems are operating within required technical and safety specifications.
Perform visual inspections and safety checks on electrical equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Monitor the performance of electrical systems using diagnostic tools and software to identify areas for improvement.
Experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting in both onshore and offshore settings.

Requirements (but not limited to) :

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including AC / DC circuits, transformers, switchgear, and control systems

Offshore survival and medical certifications, GWO BST

Relevant electrical qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, ideally in the offshore wind industry

Basic understanding of mechanical systems as they relate to electrical operations on wind turbines
