We are looking for an Animation Artist (all genders) in Munich or Hamburg (hybrid) with a strong background in Unreal and a passion for automotive and product storytelling. You will be responsible for creating dynamic, high-quality animations that showcase vehicles and product features in visually compelling ways, leveraging Unreal Engine’s cutting-edge capabilities.

Your role will involve crafting cinematic sequences, animating cameras, and integrating motion into environments to elevate product presentations. Creativity, technical expertise, and an eye for detail are essential.

• You will develop and implement high-quality animations for automotive and product visualization projects in Unreal Engine
• You will animate cameras, objects, and environments to create cinematic sequences
• You will collaborate with creatives and technical artists to ensure animations align with brand and design intent
• You will work with rigging, keyframe animation, and motion capture integration for realistic product interactions
• You will take ownership of animation from concept to final delivery
• You will support pipeline improvements and mentor junior artists in Unreal animation best practices

• 5+ years of production experience in animation, ideally in automotive or product visualization using Unreal Engine
• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and cinematic storytelling
• Expertise in Unreal Engine animation tools (Sequencer, Control Rig, Animation Blueprints)
• Experience animating mechanical parts and interactive product features
• Proficient with 3D tools (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max) for animation and rigging
• Highly organized and capable of managing complex scenes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent English skills (spoken and written); German skills are a plus
• Understanding and competence in digital infrastructures, as well as website rollout, maintenance, support and informations security

Preferred qualifications but not necessary:

• Familiarity with motion capture workflows and data cleanup
  
• Understanding of version control systems (Git)
• Knowledge of Niagara VFX for enhancing animated sequences
• Passion for automotive, architectural, or product visualizations
• Experience with Python scripting or pipeline automation
