This Role
The position of Warehouse General Operative is created to deliver the following high-level objectives :
Provide excellent levels of customer service, professionally and profitably, by helping to managing warehouse and yard operations at ATC’s Frankfurt sites.Increase operational efficiencies within warehouse and yard areas in Frankfurt.Increase levels of reporting and visualisation of both activities and equipment & tools.Standardised and optimise procedures and practices across all ATC facilitiesIncrease H&S standard.To build positive relationships across all teams; creating an environment that will facilitate strong performance.Maintaining readiness for cross-docking and storage for rack deliveries at all times.Collaborating with colleagues to manage and plan daily, weekly and monthly activities with matching performance and activity reporting.Structure and organise warehouse activities to ensure resources are used efficiently and effectively to meet changing customer demands / circumstances.Candidate Requirements
Ability to be flexible in respect of work standards and demands. Capable of working under pressure at times and to strict deadlines. Ability to complete tasks. Resilient and able to deal with changing priorities. The successful candidate will be required to possess and demonstrate :
Working knowledge of the travel industry with previous travel booking experienceExcellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.Time management skills with the competence to manage multiple priorities at once.Minute taking.Proficient with MS Office skills.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Experience in the logistics industry, including ‘White Glove’ servicesKnowledge of HR / IR legislationExperience of leading a team in warehouse operationsFull driving license, with no endorsements.The following qualifications, skills and experience would be an advantage.
