Senior Sourcing Manager Clinical Trials

A globally leading pharmaceutical company with over 6,000 employees across 25 countries, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Sourcing Manager Clinical Trials to join their dynamic team.
This position can be based anywhere in Europe and offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of clinical studies and R&D procurement.

Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage procurement activities for clinical studies, providing strategic guidance and ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
- Collaborate closely with the R&D function to understand their procurement requirements and develop strategies to support their objectives.
- Oversee the entire procurement process, from identifying potential suppliers to negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks in the procurement landscape.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that drive efficiency, cost savings, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support global procurement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Requirements :
- Multiple years of professional procurement experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven expertise in clinical studies sourcing and / or R&D procurement.
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Professional fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other languages is beneficial.
