What awaits you at Mynaric

In close cooperation with our development and test engineers, you design, prepare, execute, and document tests of the various technologies and components of our laser terminals :

You plan tests in the field of environmental testing, elaborate their test specifications and procedures in accordance to test standards and requirements in close cooperation with other teams. These tests setups focus on thermal, and thermal-vacuum tests but can occasionally also include outgassing tests or other environmental test methods.
Hands-on preparation of tests and their execution will be part of your tasks, as well as the test data acquisition, processing, analysis, and interpretation.
Depending on the type of test, you are preparing and finalizing the required documents for certification, production, or knowledge conservation.
Planning and doing necessary maintenance of our current infrastructure and machines and their calibrations in accordance with the test schedule.
Extending the capabilities of our test facilities or building entirely new test setups is occasionally part of your job.
You provide input to our design team and the respective project teams from a testing perspective and feed their input back to the testing team.
The communication with external partners for our tests can be part of your job.

What you bring with you

University degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience

Passion to work at the cutting edge of technology

Detailed knowledge or experience in environmental testing

measurement concepts and tools and their application in practice

data acquisition and measurement automation in LabVIEW

data analysis and plotting in Python

experience with thermal and vacuum, or vibration tests is beneficial

Team spirit and eagerness to learn and share knowledge

Hands-on mindset and creativity for practical solutions and a strong can-do-attitude

Practical ability in various lab tasks such as soldering and making of test harnesses

Creative solutions to complex technological problems

The willingness to learn and expand your skillset continually
