International Renewable Energy Projects
We are looking for a motivated Legal Counsel to support the development of large scale renewable energy projects. If you enjoy combining public law expertise with commercial contracting in an international environment, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the energy transition.
Your Responsibilities:
In this position, you will play a key role in the legal support of project development activities:
- Manage and support permitting and planning procedures for PV plants and cable routes
- Advise on planning law, environmental law, building law, and land rights
- Draft and review EPC, O&M, and supply contracts
- Work closely with project teams, external law firms, and local authorities
- Negotiate land use, lease, and utility agreements
Your Profile:
We are seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, international setting while navigating German regulatory frameworks:
- Fully qualified German lawyer (Second State Examination) or business lawyer (LL.M. or equivalent)
- 2-5 years of experience in relevant areas (law firm, public authority, or project development)
- Strong background in public law, especially planning, environmental, building, and property law
- Basic familiarity with EPC and O&M contracts is an advantage
- Excellent German and English skills
