INMs research group Structure Formation investigates how molecules polymers and colloidal particles join to form materials. We focus on fundamental processes of structure formation and apply them to prepare new materials from liquid precursors.

Our joint INMSaarland University group offers exciting projects from fundamental to applied research with a motivated team of researchers and technicians and access to an extensive research infrastructure. We seek students who are motivated and bring their own ideas to the projects.
If you study in one of the BSc / MSc programs in chemistry or materials science and are interested in a thesis in this area please do not hesitate to apply include a brief CV transcript of records and statement of your interests.
