In the tech-capital of South West Germany, a multi-disciplinary and ferociously expanding company is offering a unique Senior Software Architect role to join their SaaS division.
At the heart and soul of the technology sector, this special company develops world-leading SaaS and streaming platforms / services, where they are now positioned as a leader in their market.
During this exciting time, they urgently require a Software Architect to utilize their specialist skills to fuel the progression of the company.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Team Lead (SaaS) in mentoring and guiding the SW Engineers
- Evaluate, test, and select optimized cloud solutions, in conjunction with the DevOps team, in order to optimize the scalability, reliability, and performance of the products
- Work with other teams / departments to improve the synergy of different functions, such as QA, DevOps, Security, and SW Development
- Also work closely with other teams in analysing their feedback to mold product features and requirements, and prioritise the team’s workload
- Responsible for the architecture design with other Architects
Desired Skills and Experience
- Ideally, obtained a degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Cloud Computing, or similar
- 7+ years experience working within a SaaS environment as a developer or architect
- 3+ years experience in SW Architecture design for SaaS and / or IoT products
- Experience in Golang, React, and protocols / APIs such as gRPC, HTTPS, and REST
- Experience in Cloud platforms AWS, Azure, GCP, and / or Oracle
- Fluent English
