Senior Robotics Software Developer (f/m/d) - Motion Control Robotics
Your role
As a senior developer / engineer in motion control robotics, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge robotic products, driving advancements that define the future of automation.
Collaborate within international teams to deliver advanced technical solutions to customers. This role invites you to contribute to the evolution of motion control for collaborative robots alongside Franka Robotics.
- Innovate and contribute to our major software components (motion generation, planning, and control algorithms) for Franka robots.
- Ensure scalability and maintainability of our software components development.
Your experience & qualifications
- Hold a degree (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) in mechatronics, robotics, or electrical engineering.
- Possess profound knowledge in motion generation, robotics dynamics, or control theory.
- Profound knowledge in software development (i.e. C / C++, python)
- Experience with open-source Robot Operating System (ROS & ROS2).
- Demonstrate 5+ years of hands-on experience in dynamic robotics development.
- Experience considered as a plus :
- AGILE development
- E mbedded or real-time software development
- CI / CD
- Hands-on mechatronics systems
- Knowledge of safety standards
- Commitment, enthusiasm, and the ability to work in a team.
- Strong communication skills in English (and ideally in German)
