IT Security Engineer Digital Content Platforms (f/m/x)

The Digital Content Platforms department is one of six strategic units within the Corporate IT area Digital Experience Platforms and is responsible for the implementation of central IT platforms for digital content and with a focus on digital media, marketing and language technologies for all divisions and corporate functions worldwide.

The focus is on full application management for all ZEISS divisions and their customers, partners and agencies.

As an IT Security Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for defining, implementing and improving IT security in accordance with the ZEISS Group's information security principles in the Digital Content Platform Team.

Your role

Together with the Application Manager, you will regularly review and take responsibility for cloud security (Azure, AWS,) as well as the security of various existing SaaS applications and their interfaces based on company-wide information security policies.

You will support the design, evaluation, and implementation of new solutions with focus on SaaS and cloud solutions, considering all security-related aspects.

You actively participate in digitization projects and support the selection and implementation of cloud technologies as well as solutions with generative artificial intelligence and verify compliance with all necessary security requirements.

You will monitor all applications within the Digital Content Platforms department to identify security vulnerabilities and work with application specialists to take appropriate remediation actions.

You will work with the Information Security department to implement and assist in improving global CSOP.

You will create and maintain required security documentation for our SaaS applications within Digital Content Platforms.

As the security contact for our Digital Content Platforms cluster, you will represent our department on various IT committees and to external service providers.

Your profile

Successfully completed studies in computer science, IT security, business informatics, or comparable relevant IT education.

Initial experience as a security engineer, cybersecurity specialist or in a similar IT security-related field

Confident handling of security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001 and ASVS

Experience implementing / working with a secure development lifecycle environment.

Security by Design" is your way of life, and you have previous experience with cloud security as well as securing generative artificial intelligence platforms.

Good knowledge of common SaaS applications and web technologies.

You are confident in communication at different hierarchical levels.

Business fluent English as well as good German language skills are an advantage.
