Senior Legal Counsel
Job Description
Our client, a global iconic technology brand company, is recruiting for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their business in Germany.
Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive legal support in HR matters, including recruitment, employment, visa, business travel, expatriation, and employee benefits, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
Collaborate with business supervisors and HR to address labor disputes and litigation, safeguarding the company's legitimate interests.
Work closely with HR to manage employee relations and internal compliance, maintaining a positive work atmosphere and ensuring the smooth resolution of all kinds of internal issues.
Develop and implement local employee relations and labor law guidelines as part of the global strategy, focusing on continental Europe.
Design and execute labor training for internal stakeholders.
Act as the primary contact for HR teams concerning the company's data protection guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Provide legal assistance to employees and travelers in the region in emergencies, coordinating with external resources to protect their safety and rights.
Monitor labor legislation, identify potential compliance gaps and risks, and support HR in policy revision and enhancement.
Qualifications :
Degree in Law with successful completion of both German State Examinations (Volljurist).
At least 8 years of experience in law firms or multinational companies, specializing in individual employment law and other HR-related legal areas.
Ability to recognize new trends, introduce best practices and optimize processes.
Pragmatic, solution-oriented, and strategically minded with entrepreneurial acumen.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse teams across all hierarchical levels.
A strong sense of responsibility and mission, capable of facing various difficulties and challenges with ease.
Business fluency in German and English; proficiency in other European languages is an advantage.
