Aspart of R&D (Research & Development) in the ApplicationSoftware team, you will work on one of theleading software solutions formicroscopy.

Becomepart of our open-minded and committed team and create innovativesolutions for the most demanding applications and customers.

Weshare knowledge,support and relyon each other to push the boundaries of what ispossible.

TheApplication Software team is responsible for a wide range of areas,from the complex sequence control of microscope components and thecreation of appealing user interfaces to high-performance imageprocessing on CPUs and GPUs.

Working closely with all other R&Dteams, we offer software solutions that help make the invisiblevisible and empower our customers to create a better, healthierworld.

YOURRESPONSIBILITIES

Designingstate of theart userinterfaces withinour Leica Look&Feel and a focus onusability

Selectionand implementation of design patterns for the efficient developmentof GUIlibraries

Developmentof software in C# with the WPF framework in compliance with projectand processflows

Ensurethe high standards of our software solutions in collaboration withthe QA (Quality Assurance)team

Creationof software specifications anddocumentation

YOURPROFILE

Successfullycompleted studies in the field of computer science,engineering ornatural sciences as well as several years of professionalexperience in softwaredevelopment

Severalyears of experience creating user interfaces, ideally withWPF

Experiencewith modern software development methods andtools

Verygood knowledge of the programming languages C#

Goodknowledge of English andGerman
