About the role

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Head of Business Development to spearhead our commercial strategy, build a data-driven sales pipeline, and drive predictable growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead and inspire a dynamic team across DACH,Benelux, and Spain, including Sales, Key Account Management, and Partnership.In this pivotal role, you will shape the sales strategy, implement scalable processes, and ensure the team's success in a fast-paced environment. The location will be either Hamburg or Bielefeld.

Your profile

  • 5+ years in sales, business development, or strategy roles, ideally in SaaS, logistics, orparcel shipping
  • Proven track record of achieving growth targets and building scalable processes
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to implement predictive sales cycles
  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial approach with a “play-to-win” mentality
  • Experience managing diverse teams
  • Ability to coach and develop team members while maintaining a focus on results
  • Proficient in business German and English
  • Experience with logistics platforms, SaaS, or adjacent fields are a plus

  • Lead and manage a team of 10–15 people, including Country Managers (Germany,Benelux, Spain), Head of Key Account Management, and Partnerships Manager
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy
  • Drive predictability sales pipeline by building a robust, data-driven sales funnel
  • Coach the sales team, fostering a SaaS-driven mindset focused on data and results
  • Represent Shipcloud at quarterly business reviews and other key customer touchpoints
