Location : Paderborn

We are looking for a project engineer (m / f / d) to use our products in projects together with our customers and to further develop our solutions.

In this role, you will work in an agile team and take on the responsibility for varied and challenging tasks in the area of our simulation solutions for validating and testing perception algorithms using 3D vehicle environment models.

Your Tasks

  • Processing and management of customer projects in the field of procedural or measurement-data-based generation of 3D models of vehicle environments
  • Further development of the tool chain for generating 3D environments for use in physical sensor simulation
  • Helping to shape and consolidate agile processes in a distributed, cross-company team

Your Qualifications

  • Successfully completed studies, training or relevant experience in the field of game art, technical art, 3D design, computer science, or comparable qualifications
  • Knowledge of one or more 3D modeling software, ideally Blender, 3ds Max or Maya
  • Basic knowledge of Unreal / Unreal Editor (Blueprints)
  • Knowledge in the following areas is desirable, but not a prerequisite :

    • Methods for procedural generation of 3D environments, e.g. HoudiniProgramming in PythonKnowledge in the field of automated driving, e.g. sensor technology, sensor data processing and fusion, sensor simulation, or artificial intelligence

  • Individual initiative, coupled with the ability to innovate and apply an analytical and conceptual approach
  • Enthusiasm for direct customer contact and a high degree of team spirit
  • Very good English skills, German skills desirable
