Quality Consultant Job Description
Maternity cover 6 months.
Job location : Elanco office in EU or SA.
1 or 2 days per week office based as appropriate and remainder homeworking)
Position Description : As a quality contact for the Elanco Affiliate organization, the holder of this role works to ensure compliance with applicable regulation and Elanco standards, of the day-to-day activities performed by Elanco affiliates in the Benelux and Nordics region.
Functions, Duties, Tasks :
- Act as principal Quality liaison with the Danish Logistics Service Provider, including providing oversight and participating in troubleshooting,
- Responsible for the accurate completion of operational quality tasks in a timely manner, including but not limited to : batch release and the management of deviations, change controls, returns and quality documents in the Veeva Vault electronic Quality Management System,
- Support launch, rationalization, inventory management and supplier / customer qualification activity from an affiliate Quality perspective,
- Participate in the planning, preparation and conduct of self-inspection and audit activities, including regulatory inspection readiness,
- Work with the Quality Manager to ensure that all operations of the affiliate(s) comply with GDP and other applicable quality standards and local regulations,
- Comply with all company local and global policies including Quality frameworks, Code of Conduct, Corporate Citizenship, anti-discrimination, harassment, and health, safety and environment (HSE) policies.
Minimum Qualification (education, experience and / or training, required certifications) :
- Strong written and spoken English is essential,
- 5+ years of adequate experience,
- Spoken and written Dutch or French is an advantage,
- Previous experience working in a GDP or GMP environment is essential,
- Previous experience with electronic Quality Management Systems and ERP Systems preferred (experience with Veeva Vault and / or SAP is a significant advantage).
