The Institut National du Cancer (INC, www.inc.lu ) is a non-profit association established on June 25, 2015. The INC’s mission is to contribute to the effective fight against cancer by ensuring that all cancer patients in Luxembourg have access to a structured and standardized clinical pathway, receive appropriate medical care, and help control healthcare costs in oncology.
The INC currently plays a key role in implementing Luxembourg’s 2
National Cancer Plan (2020-2026) and is actively involved in European initiatives that complement and strengthen these national efforts.
The INC is looking for a :
Certification & Quality Project Manager
Position descirption :
- Supporting the coordination and implementation of certification initiatives within or across multiple hospitals, ensuring projects are completed on time and in line with the applicable quality standards
- Collaborating with hospital management, clinical staff, quality officers, data protection officers, to facilitate the certification process;
build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders
- Promoting best practices in quality management, supporting hospitals through the certification process and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and with European projects when applicable
- Tracking the progress of certification projects, preparing detailed reports for key stakeholders (national partners, European partners and management);
ensure timely submission of all required documentation
- Assisting the care network coordinator(s) in daily operations to maintain a high standard of care and compliance with the certification requirements
- Leading the process of defining requirements for a common database to collect quality indicators and a standardised tool for conducting national tumor boards, ensuring the solution supports national initiatives (National Cancer Plan PNC2 2020-2026) and certification objectives
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the care network(s) and within the INC, supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Playing a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing the INC’s internal quality and safety management system, ensuring it meets high quality standards and supports continuous improvement efforts
Position requirements :
- Degree (Master, Bachelor, or similar) in a relevant field of expertise : e.g., healthcare management, life sciences, social sciences, public health
- At least 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably within the healthcare sector. Experience in quality management or certification processes is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare sector and quality management principles
- Excellent organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Very good command of English and French and / or German; knowledge of Luxembourgish is an asset
- Business trips in Luxembourg and in the EU are to be expected
- MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are mandatory
